Panning across model when in 3D view

Hi Ryan,

It sounds as though you are using the orbit camera, which currently has a fixed orbit point at the centre of the terrain. We are considering adding more options for the orbit point in the future, but it can be surprisingly difficult to get this right without making the camera difficult to use.

Have you used the 3D flyover camera? I use this one if I want to zone in on a particular point on the model, and you may find this one more useful for your purposes.
