Batter Spilling on Structures

Hi, I have recently noticed that side batters modelled on Kubla don't really function properly in scenarios where 'Fill' is being placed against a near vertical surface (say bridge abutment). 
Currently, the fill batters project through the vertical surface where any spill is identified. 
Ideally, the spill batters should slope down along the rear of the wall at the same defined slope rate.  
See attached model with the intended slope manually modelled using the feature surface tool.
