Keeping project bookmarks tidy across two machines

Small workflow note rather than a Kubla question. I work from a desktop at the office and a laptop on site, and I used to lose track of which reference pages I had open for a job. What finally worked was keeping one plain bookmark folder per project and syncing it through the browser profile instead of emailing links to myself. Sounds obvious, but the difference is that the folder travels with the browser and survives a reinstall, so the site notes and the takeoff files stay in step. The same trick works for the non-work tabs that pile up - I keep those in a separate folder, a useful overview style pages included, so they never end up mixed with project material. If anyone has a better habit for this I am all ears.
